Grey Bruce OPP has issued a travel advisory due to hazardous weather conditions across Grey and Bruce counties.
"Grey Bruce County is experiencing extreme winter weather, including high winds, blowing snow, and sudden whiteout conditions that continue to create hazardous driving environments across the region," read a media release January 23, advising motorists to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.
"While roads may not be officially closed, conditions remain unpredicable and unsafe," the release continued. "If travel is not essential, community members are urged to stay home."
